How to Create Volume Discounts

Create Product Discount

- Click on "Create Product Discount" in the app.
- Choose between a discount code or automatic option.
- Enter a title for the discount (e.g., volume example).

Edit Logic


- Click on "Edit Logic" and select a template (bulk/volume discount for specific products).
- Zoom out to view the entire product and adjust criteria if needed (specific products or collections).

Based on Quantity or Price


You can create volume discounts based on either the total quantity of eligible items, or the total price of eligible items. This grants you more flexibility with your promotions.

Quantity/Price Breaks



- Set quantity breaks (e.g., 5, 10) for discount tiers.



- Each break can offer a different discount.
- Options for percentage, fixed amount, or fixed price discounts available. To see all options, read this article.

Advanced Options


- Compare by: Which mathematical operator to use to compare the quantity of eligible products. For example, you can set an exact quantity for discount application ( Equals (==) instead of Greater than or equal to (>=)).
- Title: Set different discount messages for each quantity break.

Save and Test Discount

- Click on "Save" to apply the volume discount.
- Test the discount on the test discounts page.
- Proceed to the cart page to see the discount in action.

Applying the Discount


- In this example, the discount message changes based on the quantity in the cart. "10+ units get 10% off," "5+ units get 5% off."

Additional Features


- Display a volume pricing table on product pages.
